The Marswal Holiday Park is located in the south-west corner of Friesland. The luxury villas in the holiday park are just 50 metres away from the beach and Lake Sloter. The beach has a sunbathing area and a beach pavilion, where you can enjoy lunch or dinner. Play equipment is provided outside for children. The park is located directly on the Sloter Lake, which also has a marina. Berths can be rented here, but it is advisable to book them in advance. In addition to mooring, you can also hire Valk, Optimist or Sloop dinghies at the marina. You can also rent bikes at the reception. Wireless internet is provided for the villas and the marina via a transmitter in the park. It is mandatory to rent the bed sheets. Final cleaning is also compulsory. Youth groups are not admitted. The villas in the Marswal Holiday Park are very comfortable and modern. They can accommodate four to six people. All villas have a spacious living room and sliding doors leading to the terrace. In addition to a visit to the typical Frisian villages of Workum, Hindeloopen and Stavoren, you can also visit big cities like Sneek and Heerenveen. Heerenveen has 32 national monuments. Travelling by car or on a bicycle from Makkum to Workum on the bank is a great experience. Enjoy the Frisian countryside and watch out for sheep and cows. From Balk, you can quickly reach the north-eastern part of the Dutch province of Flevoland, which is worth exploring. Pay a visit to the former Island of Schokland, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the Reformed Church of Middelbuurt.

    “Auf den ersten Blick ein schönes Ferienhaus mit guter Ausstattung. Leider gab es viele Kleinigkeiten zu bemängeln, die vor Ort trotz mehrmaliger Ansprache nicht geändert wurden: Sauberkeit bei Einzug in leider sehr vielen Ecken, defekte Waschbecken, schmutzige Bettwäsche.

    “Es ist eine sehr schöne Ferienanlage in Balk.. Das Haus macht einen gepflegten Eindruck und hat genügend Platz für 6 Personen. Leider sind die Gartenmöbel nicht mehr schön, die Stühle und Liegen sind mehrfach repariert worden oder fallen auseinander. Ansonsten ist es sehr schön dort gewesen. Empfehlen wir gerne weiter.”

    “Wir haben einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub in dem sehr gut und geschmackvoll eingerichtetem Haus verbracht. Das Haus befindet sich in einer sehr guten Lage. Nur wenige Minuten vom Slotermeer entfernt. Mit dem Rad erreicht man den Ort mit seinen kleinen Geschäften und Kneipen auch sehr schnell. Auch unser kleiner Hund hat sich hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit dem Auto erreicht man auch sehr gut die anliegenden Städte wie z.B. Lemmer oder Sneek. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.”
