The Garden of Zephyrus - Halepa

Ground floor, bright, fully equipped apartment, with a large yard for sunny mornings, decorated with style and outlook, refinement and luxury. Our apartment is suitable for couples, families of 5 and groups of 4 and is located in the historic Halepa, one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of the city of Chania, on a quiet street, just 2 km from the center and the old town and 600 meters from the nearest beach.

We have renovated this apartment and decorated it with love for hospitality, style and personality, making sure it is functional and simple, but also unique, so that it expresses us. To get to the apartment you have to go down a few steps from the street side to find yourself in the corridor that communicates with the other two apartments on the ground floor, which is surrounded by courtyards and gardens. In the open space you will find two living rooms with a day sofa (single bed) and a semi-double sofa bed (1.40 m) that can comfortably sleep an adult or two small children. There is a comfortable kitchen equipped with all the necessary utensils and appliances for cooking and a dining table for 4 adults and a bar surface suitable for work. We prepared a very special bedroom, with an idea of exoticism and romance, which communicates with a private front yard.

The yard is large - almost as big as the apartment and sunny all day long and you can enjoy your breakfast in the comfortable living room, under the shade of a large umbrella. There is also a common, exterior corridor - backyard that leads to the other apartments.

Halepa is an old suburb of the city famous for its history and architectural wealth, as it is full of stately houses, palaces, consulates, gardens and impressive churches from the beginning of the 20th century, such as the house-museum of the most important Greek politician El Venizelou (at a distance of 400 meters) and the Russian church of Agia Magdaleni (Saint Magdalena) with its wonderful garden. The new Archaeological Museum of Chania is 450 meters away. At 600 meters distance is the amazing seaside neighborhood of Tabakaria (tanneries built on vertical cliffs during the period of Egyptian occupation in the 19th century). There you will findone of the best fish taverns in the city next to the sea, the natural pool of Kouloura and the picturesque church of Metamorfosis of Sotira (Transformation of the Savior) overlooking the open sea. Within a 2-5 minute walk you will find a supermarket, a bus stop, cute cafes, excellent taverns with local cuisine and good prices, as well as a car rental office. The coastal walk from Halepa to the old town of Chania, especially at sunset, is an authentic and enjoyable experience that will bring you closer to the local way of life.
