Wonderful Holiday Apartment in Sankt Oswald with Sunny Terrace and Unique View

The apartments and holiday apartments are by the Bavarian Forest National Park. They are ideal for hiking and walking, a family holiday, holiday with a dog, winter holiday, cross-country skiing. The farm is idyllically situated in St. Oswald, one of the most beautiful villages in the Bavarian Forest. It is right by the national park with a large animal enclosure and the longest treetop trail in the world. The location is very quiet but central. It is easy to walk to all shops, restaurants, the Kurpark, swimming lake, deer enclosure, forest history museum, hiking paths and trail accesses.

All the apartments are equipped with satellite TV, a coffee machine, kettle, fridge with freezer compartment, four-ring hob with an oven, bed linen, hand and bath towels, tea towels free of charge.

There is a large sunny terrace with deckchairs on the first floor. The garden has a grill. There is a common room with a table tennis table, a selection of books and games. Car parking spaces and garages are available.

Use of Wi-Fi is free and we offer welcome drinks. There is a free bread rolls delivery service you can book. A sumptuous breakfast is available on request and you can take items from breakfast for the day. The main house of the farm is a three-minute walk away, which is where you can have breakfast. For groups from 10 people, meals are also offered such as freshly baked leberkäse with a salad buffet or pork knuckle with dumplings and sauerkraut, Bavarian platters or a grill evening. With the Kurkarte you can benefit from many price reductions, as well as use all the national park bus line incl. Waldbahn free of charge.

Due to the sunny elevated location of the village, it affords a unique view of the Rachel (favourite mountain of the Germans 1453 m) and Lusen (1371 m) mountains and in good visibility even the Alps. The excellent climate of the Mittelgebirge landscape offers an excellent air quality and pure natural spring water. There is no through traffic. It is an ideal starting point for short and long hikes. Recreation, fun and activities are offered in any season. The wonderful location, the cordiality of the locals and our hospitality will ensure you soon forget everyday stress and relax. There are very good local restaurants with Bavarian and international cuisine within walking distance. There is a bus stop a three-minute walk from the house and five minutes to a swimming lake with a lawn and fitness trail. There are shopping facilities within 5km. The Bavarian Forest is one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Central Europe. This fabulous natural landscape is ideal for getting away from it all, with countless paths and trails leading through pristine nature with clear and crisp air. For those who prefer it a bit quiet, there are dreamy spots to be found everywhere. The interplay of nature, art and culture gives our stretch of land a unique charm.     Service und Vermieterin sehr angenehm, Brötchenservice top. Das Angebot selbstgemachte Marmelade zu erwerben haben wir gerne in Anspruch genommen. Auch Einladung zum Leberkäse-Essen mit zahlreichen leckeren, selbst gemachten Salaten war echt sehr gut. Auch wenn wir sonst nicht die absoluten Fans von warmen Leberkäse sind. Aber es war eine angenehme Erfahrung.”
