Holiday House in Estômbar with Open Fireplace and Wonderful View

This tasteful and comfortably furnished villa, with a heatable pool, enjoys a concealed location in the quiet and private Sesmarias villa district, also known as Sesmarias Country Club, in the Carvoeiro area. It is just a few kilometres to the west of Carvoeiro, near some smaller beaches and the long beach of Ferragudo. The Gramacho and Pinta golf courses are also nearby. This holiday residence affords a wonderful view over the hills to the west of Portimão and the Monchique mountains in the north.

The big living room with an open dining room is furnished in warm colours and looks out over the pool. The holiday house has a wireless Internet connection. The TV can receive almost all Dutch, Belgian, German and English channels. A radio and a CD/DVD player are also provided. The kitchen equipped with all modern appliances and the dining room are connected to the roofed terrace through big sliding doors. The terrace has a big dining table. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, a four-ring hob, a microwave and a fridge with a freezer compartment. The laundry room provides a washing machine and dryer.

The villa is fully furnished in a modern classical style and is suitable for six adults and three children. It provides around 230m² of living space, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen. The rooms are spread over two floors.

A driveway paved in a Portuguese style leads to the villa and the beautiful garden all around it. To the rear of the building you can find a little playground with a swing, slide and climbing frame, as well as a heatable pool measuring 9 x 5m with a depth of 1.5m. Here there is also a big terrace stretching the whole width of the house, with a view of the landscape and the sea on the horizon. Seating consists of a comfortable bench with a table. There are also deckchairs and a grill. If the pool is to be heated, then please refer to the list of supplementary services and prices. The pool can be covered, so it is safe for children. It is also possible to make a children’s paddling pool out of the outdoor shower, measuring around 2.5m² and with a depth of 30cm. The villa has wireless Internet access that you can use free of charge, as well as a safe. A cleaning lady comes a maximum of three times a week. The pool and the garden are regularly tended and maintained. There is other equipment for children available, such as a cot, a highchair, toys etc. This villa has a garage that you can use for parking or storage free of charge during your stay. You can also park two cars on site and in front of the site there is a parking strip on the access road. The site is completely enclosed and can be locked. It is possible to bring a pet free of charge, upon prior agreement. The following activities are available in the vicinity: fishing, surfing, waterskiing, diving, cycling, golf, riding, sailing, swimming, tennis, hiking etc. Ferragudo, with a choice of shops, restaurants and cafés and the beautiful beach at Caneiros are just a couple of kilometres away. The nearest localities are Carvoeiro, about 3.5km away, and Ferragudo, about 5km away. The nearest beach is in Caneiros, about 3.7km away, the nearest supermarket is 600m away, the nearest restaurants around 800m and the airport at Faro about 60km.

The ground floor has a parents’ bedroom with its own bathroom and with access to the terrace, where you can enjoy a lovely view. The bedroom has a kingsize double bed measuring 180 x 200cm. The adjoining bathroom has a shower, two washbasins, a mirror, a toilet and a window. The other two bedrooms each have two single beds measuring 90 x 200cm. The second bathroom on the ground floor comprises a bath, a washbasin, a mirror, a toilet and a window. The fourth bedroom, for children, is on the first floor and has a bunk bed, each 80 x 190cm. Three cots can also be set up. All the bedrooms have air conditioning. The third bathroom on the upper floor has a bath, two washbasins with a cupboard underneath and a mirror, a toilet and a window. Bed linen is changed weekly, hand towels twice a week. Tiled floors keep the villa cool during the hot summer months. If it gets colder then there is central heating and there is also an open fireplace.

    “Twee weken met zijn vieren hier geweest, en alles was TOP !
    Alles schoon en compleet, afwasmachine, wasmachine, droger etc etc.
    Heerlijk rustig daar, en toch heel vlak bij de grotere steden.
    Contact met de mensen die je ontvangen etc, is ook heel goed.
    En het zwembad is heerlijk !”

    “We stayed 2 weeks as a family of 5 with 2 Kids. The kids loved the pool and all the toys. The house is well furnished, the kitchen is large and has everything you need. Service was absolutely great and uncomplicated. The baths could use a touch up, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay.”

    “Wij hebben met onze kinderen en kleinkinderen van 2 tot 9 oktober in huis ALHA in Lagoa verbleven. Voor ons was het huis erg geschikt. Voldoende zitjes een zwembad. en BBQ. Er was ook kinderspeelgoed wat gebruikt kon worden. Alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig.
    De grote keuken was goed uitgerust.. De bedden/matrassen waren nogal stevig, maar we hebben er prima op geslapen.
    Her en der verdient de woning wat onderhoud. In het zwembad waren op een paar plekken de tegeltjes weg. Op het terras een paar gebroken en/of verzakte tegels. Een gescheurd (maar met plakband geplakte) hordeur. Dat soort dingetjes, maar dat heeft zeker geen negatieve invloed op ons vakantieplezier gehad.
    Wij hebben er een prima tijd beleefd!”
